Let's see..a slice of Meat pizza went up 25 cents. Pretty good for a 10 year difference! Cookies, same price! The pizza warmer looks a little more authentic now too.

In the loo at the Laurelhurst Theater. If there were a Google Streetview of this photo I'd be really concerned.

This was the very first clock photo taken that containing someone I did not know.

Cora outside a second hand store. Now it is a restaurant.

Some of the first clock pictures I took were along NE 28th. Here is Cora, me, and a girl named Kat. I was working for a webdesign place (Amazing!, had a three letter domain that was often confused for either ANZ Bank of Australia/New Zealand or Amazon.com).

This place is a Bishop's Barbershop now.

This is now a Bishop's Barbershop. I still have that Apple ][e in the window there. I had written a BASIC script that simply read "I like to count!" and counted up from one. After about three weeks of running my boss asked me to remove it from the window because every few hours people would pop their head in and say "why is this counting?"

There was a couch on the inside of that garage door that I slept several nights on when work was busy. Now people eat in that spot.

The guy I worked for, Steve, owned this VW Thing. He still has it too. It has even survived a few trips to Burning Man.

We drug a couch out into the street and took the photo. Odd since this is a somewhat busy street.

They added a bike corral!

Apparently they are going all incognito and are now the "Portland Syrup Plant".

My friend Myke, I learned a lot of UNIX skills from him in the late 90's when I was getting my Computer Science degree. He lives in Montana now.

The theater is now a freelance client of me and my friend Molly, hence very soon their website will no longer look like it did in 2001!

We took several clock photos in the store, then I told her to make it look like she was kicking us out. We got invited to a Hawaiian party which is where I took most of the original 12-1am photos

Ohh, someone got an air conditioner!

I had a hard time getting the angle right on this one, the upside is that you can see the condos in the 2011 picture.

This was torn down to make way for the condos. This place is still around but has obviously since moved.

They tore this block down a few years ago and put up condos. I'm standing in front of a restaurant bar called the Hungry Tiger.

New name!

This is one of my favorite "then vs now" photos. I might try going back and redoing this one again and get it exact and without cars.

Had I taken the 2011 version in May it might have been in bloom.

This took a little while to find. It is one of three photos I reshot that have had a fence added.
