My buddy Jeff in the Safeway parking garage back in 2001. Jeff has since left the country, but he thankfully reproduced the photo as best he could on the ferry between Denmark and Christiansand. Only major difference here is that this covered parking lot is actually moving.

I lived in this house from 1999-2001. I wrote most of the site at this house and many photos were taken there.

The original Stumptown coffeeshop. I remember biking past this building one day thinking "oh, the cheesy Hair Bender salon went out of business". The coffeeshop showed up awhile later. I'm most grateful for going in there after they opened and Duane was playing Radio Birdman. It scares me to think that I nearly left for Australia a few months later never hearing about them. Instead they were the soundtrack for a lot of my bike riding and I even got to see a reunion show in Sydney.

Of all the photos in this series, this one probably changed the least (obviously).

The fact that a Beanie Baby store would even exist definitely dates this photo to 2001.

For years after this I always thought this photo was taken on the other side of the street. It took me awhile to figure out where this was taken.

A fence was built at some point and I couldn't get the same angle anymore.

This kid lived down the street from me was pretty excited when I gave him a copy of this photo.
