This pharmacy was in the 1989 movie "Drugstore Cowboy". Near the spot where I'm lying down is where Heather Graham had her (fake) <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bJoxFK_UIY" target="_blank">seizure on the floor</a>.

Until I watched the <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bJoxFK_UIY" target="_blank">clip above</a>, I didn't realize that Matt Dillon drank from that "<a href="http://www.uniquely-portland-oregon.com/benson-bubblers.html" target="_blank">Benson Bubbler</a>".

It was a good thing I remembered the Thrift Store having an exposed wall otherwise I might not have been able to find this location.
For years in the back of the "employees only" they had a Darkness-era Springsteen cardboard cutout. I asked to buy it several times and then one day it was just gone. I did score a bunch of Atari games in their original boxes though for $2 each. So it evened out.

This <a href="http://www.musicmillennium.com/" target="_blank">Music Millenium</a> location closed a few years back and now there is just the store on East Burnside.
This is some sort of "Friends of the Portland Library" store now.

This used to be a Plaid Pantry convenience store and a photo lab if I remember right. They tore the whole thing down a few years ago and built this.

It took me forever to find this place since there are at least two other apartment complexes with this design. Two of which still look like the 2001 photo.
I ran into this girl a few years after I took this photo at a halloween party.
