In 2011 during most times of the day the line goes out the door.

In 2001 not many people lined up out the door to get some upholstery work done.

Little known fact, that building on the far left is the home of Atlas glass. This is where I got the glass cut to build my MacAquarium.

This place got torn down and is now a New Seasons grocery store. For good free comedy go up to the roof parking and watch people try and turn their giant vehicles around.

Corporate buyout!

They did a major overhaul of this Fred Meyer a few years ago.

In April 2011, I saw Robert Plant getting into a cab at this very spot. Didn't have a chance to get a clock photo with him, but he went to my friend's Tea Shop just down the street.

Toney Bento! I have always liked eating at this place.

"Wow, I look so much younger" was his response when I showed him the 2001 picture.

Ran into my friend "Almost-PhD Peter" when I was taking the PSU photos for this retrospective. I didn't have the original cardboard sign with me so I couldn't do an exact reproduction. (well, and he was on a different side of town from when the 2001 photo was taken).

I'm not sure of the layout but the back corner of this restaurant got turned into a waffle joint.

No more video store. No more late fees.

No more bus stop. I wasn't sure until I found the old bolt holes in the ground.

Well this one isn't going to be recreated anytime soon.

It was a boarded up Arby's for years. McDonald's was gonna move in. There was a lot of neighborhood flak and the whole thing got razed and condos took its place.

I'm told that for awhile earlier this year there was a giant "Store Closed" sign in front, with what looked like a bombed out store behind it.
